Honoring a Legacy of Impact

Over the years, Craig has helped launch and shape some of Walnut Hill’s most significant ministries—from youth and young adult movements to the Waterbury Campus, pastoral care during a time of crisis in our local community, and the development of our campuses, Church in Action and leadership programs. His vision and heart for the next generation have left a lasting legacy that continues to bless our church family.

Through the years, Amy has faithfully served in a variety of part-time staff roles, including as administrator for our young adult 'Core' service, in youth ministry and as the Waterbury Children’s Coordinator. She and Craig have consistently served together, partnering to love and care for our congregation with dedication and grace.

Bryan Nazworth, Elder Chairman, reflected on their ministry:

“Few people have had such a lasting impact on Walnut Hill as Craig Mowrey. Starting as our Middle School Pastor in 1999, Craig has helped shape nearly every ministry we have. He and Amy have stood by countless families in both celebration and sorrow. They will be deeply missed.”

Craig and Amy do not have immediate plans to move, so you’ll likely see them at services or special events even after July.
